The Ice Cream Shop is a video-painting that recreates the aesthetic experience produced by the contact with flavors, colors, shapes, temperature, and other elements that can intervene in the preparation of an ice cream. In this one, the main aim is to attend to the fact that in the midst of the many non-places in which human beings inhabit at the present time, this space - The Ice Cream Shop - allows the aesthetic experience of going back to childhood, the possibility of constituting personally the sense of what is within our reach. Out of place has been, in the present, being a producer of meaning. Instead, the whole place has to be boiled down to the role of consumer. The video stands up against that saturation of nonsense, which is why it resorts to strident sounds that allow us to reconstruct that the making of a simple ice cream is always a moment of subversion against repetition and the loss of the person as a source of meaning in the world. This video does not have an established beginning and end, it is the union of different micro-stories, each one corresponding to the preparation of an ice cream. This leads to suggest its reproduction in a "loop" and a proposal for a spatial montage that simulates an ice cream shop.

La Heladería es un video-pintura que recrea la experiencia estética que produce el contacto con los sabores, los colores, las formas, la temperatura, y demás elementos, que puedan intervenir en la preparación de los helados. En éste se quiere, principalmente, atender al hecho de que en medio de los tantos no lugares en los cuales habitamos los seres humanos en la época actual, este espacio –La Heladería– permite la experiencia estética de retrotraer la infancia, la posibilidad de constituir personalmente el sentido de lo que está a nuestro alcance. Fuera de lugar ha quedado, en el presente, el ser productor de sentido. En cambio, tiene todo el lugar reducirse al rol de consumidor. El video se levanta contra esa saturación del sinsentido, por eso recurre a sonidos estridentes que permiten reconstruir que la elaboración de un sencillo helado es, siempre, momento de la subversión contra la repetición y la pérdida de la persona como fuente de sentido del mundo. Este video no tiene un comienzo y un final establecidos, es la unión de diferentes microrelatos, cada uno correspondiente a la preparación de un helado. Esto lleva a sugerir su reproducción en “loop” y una propuesta de montaje espacial que simula una heladería.
