Exploro la relación entre la pintura y la tecnología digital insertada en nuestra cotidianidad, en las imágenes que consumimos a través de las pantallas, por ejemplo en los videojuegos o en las redes sociales. Trabajo con la imagen digital traducida al campo pictórico y con el gesto pictórico traducido a lo digital. Me pregunto cómo las nuevas formas de producción y recepción de la imagen digital afectan y modifican la producción y recepción de la pintura contemporánea. Me interesa la relación entre lo real y lo simulado, en especial la dificultad de discernir entre lo uno y lo otro.

I explore the relationship between painting and digital technology inserted in our daily lives, in the images we consume through screens, for example in video games or on social networks. I work with the digital image translated into the pictorial field and with the pictorial gesture translated into the digital. I wonder how the new forms of production and reception of the digital image affect and modify the production and reception of contemporary painting. I am interested in the relationship between the real and the simulated, especially the difficulty of discerning between the one and the other.
