The initial intention that motivated this series of paintings was to let watery pigments flow freely on the canvases, allowing the emergence of random spots that when drying began to suggest new pictorial processes -such as superimposing areas of color, highlighting some parts and covering others-. In this process, that initial stain was acquiring character, suggesting colors and new elements. Seen those spots with "characters" some people asked me: what is that? At first I was trying to explain but it seemed more interesting to ask the question back: what do you see there?
From that experience, the route of the exhibition of these paintings is considered as a game of interpretation, similar to the game of finding shapes in the clouds. The visitor writes what he/she sees in each painting and at the same time can read what other people saw. The intention is to provoke an active participation on the part of the viewer, to differentiate or renew the traditional attitude that the viewer has when visiting a painting exhibition.

La intención inicial que motivó esta serie de pinturas fue la de dejar fluir libremente pigmentos aguados sobre los lienzos, permitir el surgimiento de manchas al azar que al secarse empezaban a sugerir nuevos procesos pictóricos –como superponer zonas de color, resaltar algunas partes y cubrir otras–. En este proceso esa mancha inicial iba adquiriendo carácter, sugería colores y nuevos elementos. Antes esas manchas con "carácter" me preguntaban ¿Qué es eso? Al principio intentaba explicar pero me parecía más interesante devolver la pregunta: ¿qué ve usted ahí?
A partir de esa experiencia se plantea el recorrido de la exposición de estas pinturas como un juego de interpretación, similar al juego de encontrar formas en la nubes. El visitante escribe lo que ve en cada pintura y a la vez puede leer lo que otras personas vieron. La intención es la de provocar una participación activa por parte del espectador, diferenciar o renovar la actitud tradicional que éste tiene al visitar una exposición de pintura.
